Based in London, Lukasz Gawlik leads Carpathian Partners’ investment activity, from sourcing to execution and portfolio management. He is also responsible for managing investor relations and the overall strategy of the platform.
Prior to founding Carpathian Partners, Mr Gawlik spent over 15 years in M&A and direct investments with prominent platforms including Morgan Stanley, Providence Equity Partners, Mid Europa Partners and most recently with Warburg Pincus, a leading global growth equity fund, where Mr Gawlik was a Principal in the technology team covering EMEA.
In his investment career, Mr Gawlik participated in and led private equity deals with a combined capital deployed of over $1bn, across technology, telecom, media, education, industrial and consumer sectors on three continents, and gained first-hand experience in supporting growth efforts of his portfolio companies from a board member position.

Based in San Francisco, Mr Pietrasik is a Venture Partner at Carpathian Partners, providing support to our portfolio companies in their North American expansion efforts.
Mr Pietrasik is the founder Healthdom, a digital health company based in San Francisco. Previously, he was the Head of Central and Eastern Europe at Warburg Pincus, where he originated and led multiple transactions across CEE, Western Europe and USA. Prior to that, Mr Pietrasik was an investor at Mid Europa Partners and held positions at JPMorgan and McKinsey.
With his uniquely diversified background, including experience as an entrepreneur, investor, banker and strategy consultant, Mr Pietrasik can both identify winning business models and actively support businesses at various stages of their development.
